What does everyone here think of Richard Hell? I've been listening alot to Blank Generation (the song, not album... I don't have the album just yet). Richard is somewhat known as the guy who "invented punk fashion", and after having previously heard a bit about him, an article Lester Bangs wrote on him got me pretty interested. I think any fans of early Patti Smith or Television couldn't go wrong with the Blank Generation album, based on the few songs I've heard from it. One quite notable thing, aside from Hell's wild vocals, is his guitarist Robert Quine (I think that's it, anyway) who seems to me to be a really imaginative player.
