Not sure if I can really profess to be one, but am really into Celtic mythology and such. Perhaps because it's my heritage.
well... I was just looking for someone to join me in raiding the Xtian boards for women and firewood. Perhaps some Roman heads. A holiday with the clan does that to you...
I dunno, ves... your ancestors helped themselves to a fair portion of my ancestors women... I suppose that qualifies you for a raiding party. Sage, you can swing an axe beside me any ol' time.
And in case anyone was wondering, this thread was a joke... I have no interest in Christian women. So was that.
having family raised in south boston, caught in the middle of the whole catholic/protestant clash which ruined my first teenage relationship in high school, and as they're *still* not intelligent enough to wise up and give it a break, i'd have to say that, in spite of my ancestory, i am sick to death of anything green, plaid, covered in knotwork, and/or reeking of shamrocks. furthermore, i'm vegetarian, but even if i wasn't i fuckin' hate corned beef. ditto for stew. i did, however, wear black this st. patty's day, and little silver serpent earrings, in solidarity with the snakes. that being said, i do appreciate a good mead, and if you're going on a raid for roman heads, hell, i'll tag along to watch & help with the pillaging. ok i admit it. truth be told i just want to find out what you guys have got under your kilts.
Ya know what we wear under our kilts.... Our shoes. And the whole snakes thing, as you're no doubt aware, was figurative... too cold for snakes in Ireland. They were talkin' about us...
Yes, I have Celtic blood in my veins. In fact my Scottish ancestors were highlanders. I would share a glass of mead with you also.
Celt with my ancestors from Gaul and Germanic regions. I am young and have been studying for only 8 years, but i have much honor and love for my Celtic Pagan community. haha you wonderuflly ferocious men talking about the underside of your kilts!
always been attracted more to celtic mythology and dieties than any other branch, so I suppose, in a way, I'm celtic wiccan
