i dont think so. just make sure if you fell a dread is forming way too big you rip it into sections and let it do its own thing. youll be fine.

oh no. i took them out the day of the pictures. they made my head hurt anyway.
but i did spend about an hour per dread to ensureit was as tight as i could get it, but thats about it.
i dont think theres really much of a secret lol, i think it was my hair type. i was just lucky i guess.
