My dreads were 1 year old yesterday, on a related note it was also my 25th birthday and I spent all day being hung over so this is why I'm doing this today. Eagle eyed viewers will notice the fucking massive TV I brought as a direct result of being re-dumped by my ex. It is made of awesome and win. I suppose I should go through some sort of list of experiences. Firstly my hair was about twice this length when I back combed it. I think some of the dreads are finally starting to get longer, but most of them still have bits that are waiting to shrink and there are a fair few loops, one of the ones on the back has decided to double back on it's self and I'm just going to let it do it's own thing, except I play with it several times a day so it'll probably never congo with itself until I get bored of it. The roots sort of waxed and waned between being tight to my scalp and being quite loose, now they are quite tight and have like little "tree-root" proto-dreads mixed in with undreaded hair at the base. They were washed 2 days ago so there is probably slightly less frizz than average but the sunlight will serve to highlight it so meh.

Your dreads really confused me before I'd seen this post ^^ because I was like, they're awesome-wild lookin, like neglect, but no way could neglect get them like that in only 1 year. So yer I really like your dreads =] congrats on 1 year and your birthday

I has 14, they are fat, and phat I should do this more often seeing as how everyone is nice as fuck to me.
