1 Year Old Dreads

Just found this site and its pretty cool. Thought id post up how my dreads are comin along. Ive had them since 19 July last year so there almost a year old. Just wish they were longer...

My dreads are back-combed btw. I remember seeing a debate about how it isnt worth doing but 6 hours of it worked wonders for me. Or that might be cos ive got really REALLY thick hair.

 

i could sorta tell, my buddy has nice thick ones like that he back-combed, and your tips are rounded as hell, no bumps or loops or nothing


his are sorta fallin out though, so be proud of those things

 

I am proud lol. Ive not had a good experience with hair in the past but dreads are just awesome.

Only crocheted one cos it was gettin rly loose at the root but now its fine. And yeh i do get called Bob quite a lot lol.

Hells yeh! Really didnt like my hair at all and i always wanted dreads since i saw a Rage against the Machine video lol

Those are gonna be fat as hell they tight just dont like rounded ends but I dig the thickness

Thanks guys. Yeh i waxed when i first backcombed but learned the next day about the dangers of wax so i stay well away.
