Hi, I'm new here. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever gone to the 10,000 lakes fest in Detroit Lakes? I was thinking about possibly going this year and was just curious of what people thought about it, and how the expierience was?

Hi. Yep, I've been to 10KLF...I live about 30 miles from where it's held. I love the atmosphere...and for being so large, it's one of the best I've been to. I would carefully pick out where to camp though....there's a big difference between them as far as drinking, drugs, noise, partying, kids...etc....definitely worth the trip though! I also went to Bella Sol last year. It was fun, but I probably won't be going again. But I go to Log Jam every year. It's by far my favorite music festival, and I look forward to it all winter every winter! It's being held on Lake Millacs again this year. It's a great location, very small, incredibly friendly atmosphere...and 4 days of great bluegrass and jam bands for a very very resonable price. Hmmm...my babbling makes me think I should get a job in advertising.
