19 Months and a trim

So, I've had my dreads for 19 months now and I'm really starting to love them. We've had record temps here the past week and I debated over cutting them a wee bit shorter to help me cool off. Last night I decided that it wouldn't be sooooo bad to give them a little trim. I cut several inches off the back. Here's what they look like now:

 

Wow really nice!! Our locks are the same age. I think mine are 19 months today.. But it could have been the 9th. Or the tenth. Whatever. I really dig that rainbow tam.

 

They look cute. I wouldn't know about long hair and being too hot..lol.

They look pretty neat for naturals, but maybe that's partly due to the cut. Nice anyway...

 

The cut did make them look a lot neater.

I cut a good few inches off the back and everything else got a little trim as well so that it wouldn't look too crazy.

 

I really, really like them. I think the trim made them look awesome and really emphasized just how knotty they are!
