Hello Everyone!!! So far, but so close to home. The last gathering I was at was in Pennsylvania, 1995. I miss my friends, my family, the love, the music, the spirituality and the unity. Hello Maze, Patch (the dog), Sleepy, Robin, Little Bear and to all family wherever you may roam. To all the family out there... I would like to thank you ALL ALL ALL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU for the time and memories that will always be existent within my heart, soul, mind and spirit. Namaste, Musiklover77... P.S. what was his name? Are the 5-0 getting worse? I do not remember so much of a hassle being welcomed home or leaving... it's so sad. Where did you spend your time mostly? Little Bear was great, he actually came home with me for a little while and went to the 2nd woodstock fest with my roommate... Maze also came home with me with another rainbow named Country. Maze was Amazing, the mazes that he drew not only worked but were soooo beautiful and boy did he strum a mean guitar. I forget Patch the dogs owners name, but Maze and I had some pretty fun times together, we worked together, played music, dug shitters together etc... Robin was the first person I had met after an exhausting journey to bus village... ( I had hiked for over 8 hours to get there with full gear and food & 6 gallons of water on my back.) He fed me and sheltered me just in time for my friend to hear my voice screaming my name in excitement...we hugged so greatly it was amazing. That's when my journey of a lifetime began. Still racking my brain on who Patch led around. Thought I had one of Maze's maze's around but cant find. I sang at the Piano and mostly wandered between BLISS Kitchen (the bridge) and Rainbow Crystal Kitchen. I was the Fat, PMS-ing Bitch camped between the game room and Montana Mudd. Got Rainbow artifacts back to '77 when I 1st "hooked up". 5-0 is....was alot better till Colorado. A beautiful forest with such Bozo's running it. Nowadays its not 5-0 to worry about, but those using agro for every aspect. Sheeesh they even call themselves AGRO-This and AGRO-that :whip:. Almost time for 3 Gatherings: a Peaceful Loving POSITIVE one, an all-out Get your AGRO-ON one. I think it would be positive for ALL to go to a 3rd SILENT gathering. The invention of the word agro should not be in the Rainbow vocabulary. Agro is not a part of what gatherings are supposed to be about, it's to get away from the Agro, this is why people gather. The reason why we leave Babylon is to get away from Agro, but not to travel miles away just to be aggrevated again. This is what I don't understand... When I was at the PA gathering, the cops just trotted around, making sure that everything was o.k. There were no anger words, negative... We all made sure when 5-0 or troting ponys traveled by word that some "illegal" things were out of site, but for the most part they were there just patroling. Some we even talked with and invited into our kitchens! It is there job and who are we to tell them to stay off the land? Who are we to tell them not to patrol? And just maybe one day when the anger subsides, just maybe one of the officers will join us in a pow wow or an ommmmmmmmmm!!!! They also should not be using force to keep us away from gathering, but all in all there is a higher up directing these lower scaled people to do their jobs... ITS A POWER STRUGGLE!!!! We are not of power, the earth and nature is don't we get it yet??? We are ONLY HUMAN!!!!!! MOTHER EARTH IS IN CONTROL!!! Not police on horse back, but these people are brainwashed into getting their next paycheck and not realizing what a gathering is supposed to entail. I remember, as I was driving a police officer pulled me over, right before I made it to Welcome Home... I was nice, he was nice... He said to me, ya know, if you have anything dangling in your rear view mirror in PA it is illegal. He suggested that I took it off so that there would be no complications and I did, thanking him for the information and left... INSTEAD OF WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING PULLING ME OVER BLAH BLAH BLAH... It's all in the approach of how things are handled gives us a much better outcome then NEGATIVE YUCK NEGATIVE. We need to be open minded and take different approaches and turn the negative into positive... "KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS" kind of an approach, how can anyone turn down a smile I think a different approach needs to be taken instead of anger, negative or apprehension. If we get pulled over for instance and we show apprehension about being pulled over that is giving the cop a reason to inquire about our situation... It's not going to get us anywhere. And what is going on with this drinking thing... I mean, aren't we in our hearts of hearts supposed to love one and all, no matter their past, present and future? I can understand if one gets disorderly and is ruining the vibe of what the Rainbows gathering does... Someone then would have to take control and remind that person of what we are doing and what we are gathering for. Instead of being selfish, the anger should stop immediately instead of creating a situation in which we are all running from in the first place which is NEGATIVE. I feel like I want to go to the counsel... I mean I want people to experience the amazingness of what I experienced. It doesn't sound as if this is going to happen until the crapola stops!!! We are to LOVE each other and UNDERSTAND each other and be COMPASIONATE about each others lives and situations.... wether in Babylon or NOT... We are all ONE!!!! ONE ONE ONE ONE ONE NOBODY IS BETTER THAN THE NEXT... Cop or no cop AGRO or no Agro. It's ridiculous... If you have a chance read the Florida Gathering information, it has just been updated... I thought whoever wrote that was right on!!! Anway... I can't remember who patch led around either, he is a vague memory I think I hung out with his dog more than him... He always followed around on the outskirts of our path... Sleepy was cool too... His real name was Sleepy... I remember him saying... Yeah, my parents were a bunch of Hippies and they couldn't figure out a name for me and I slept a lot so that's how I got my name... HAHAH He was such a kindred spirit. I'll have to scan in my pictures from the gathering... I had miss placed my film and was only left with one roll... which ended up being in black and white! How Ironic!!! Do you remember that Mama's name, who was pregnant and giving birth in bus village? Her body was so swollen, they ended up needing to bring her to the hospital, I hope she gave birth to a beautiful rainbow and that they are living happily. I agree, I LOVE ALL FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY WEAR, WHAT UNIFORM, WHAT THEY DRINK, WHAT THEY SELL, WHAT THEIR PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE IS, NO MATTER WHAT... Just because a person is not gathering does not mean that their spirits and colors are not entwined with a Rainbow!!!! IT'S ALL IN THE ATTITUDE!!!! Hi. I wasn't in PA in 94, but PA 99 was my first gathering. I went to a NERF regional in 05 too. I love it up there. To me our family is all about LOVE. and I love all of my family. I hope to see you on the trail someday. Luv & Lite
