The other night I had one of the weirdest experiances ever. I had a dream, and I woke up, I defiantly knew I was awake, then closed my eyes, than bang felt like 10 seconds I was in a dream again, it was weird, their was a weird looking gorilla, and I touched it, and felt like I was in control, and I was trying to make myself then i felt all funny as if a power surge was going through me, then bang I was awake - unfortunely I didn't check the time to see how much time had passed by but damn it was freaky. This happened once before a fwe months ago, where I felt like I was in control and tried to make myself wake, then I woke up.

I was going to post something else, but suprisingly theirs already a post where I can post in (the sleep paralysis thing).

I just remembered something else, yes this is freaky, but as a child, I always had nightmares involving Light Bulbs, yes LIGHT BULBS! They used to always involve ones in the houses, one dream felt so real that I was being lifted from my bed towards the one in my room, I remember as a kid I was convinced it really happened. Got to the point where when I visited my grandmas I was scared to be outside alone, especially at knight, as the light out there was involved in many of my nightmares.
Anyone know why I would have kept on having these?

you were in psyonic communion with a moth. i know that sounds like i'm making some kind of sarcastic joke but i don't mean it that way. i'm not saying that has to be the case either and it is a bit of a streatch, but i can see where it's quite possible or your mind itself, slightly more likely, runs a simulation of as if you were.

there were, still are, things i avoid because my mind runs worst case scenarios before i attempt them. i think a lot of people do this without realizing it. in my case i usualy do realize i'm doing so. and usualy glad of doing so when i see some of the things that happen to people when they don't.

well if you keep running a particular dream sim, whatever in real life is stimulating it is still there. which may or may not have any direct or obvious connection to the conscious part of your waking mind.

are there maybe lightbulbs that are difficult or dangerous to chainge when they burn out that it is up to you to do so, or some symbolic analogy, in your own internal symbols to something like that?

there's the old cartoon cleche of using lightbulbs to represent ideas or thoughts. maybe there's something you're affraid to think about. and maybe haven't resolved why it might be troubling to do so. you know explored so you can then dismiss knowingly as having delt with.

not that you should force yourself into everything your scared of either. nature gives us fear for a reason, and sometimes it's a very good reason. but then sometimes we misconstrue it and then it's not. just something only you can explore yourself since it's within yourself, or rather the simulation of it is within yourself anyway.

Unless you are working with shakipat or kundalini energy, the dream may be warning you to be very, very careful when [over] indulging in things (like black magick or heavy drugs and/or alcohol, for example.)

Think things at least three times over, then think it over some more. Let's say that you come home on a Friday and your whole body is shaking, it wants to go out and party. That hypersensitibity is a warning. It is better to have a cup of coffe or tea, have a nice dinner and forget about over indulging that night. It could be that you have associated alcohol with pleasure and subconsciously you are looking for excitement. That is when to take control of your body and mind, it is the time to learn how to relax by going jogging, biking, swimming, hiking, etc. That is the time to reprogramme the mind and break the subconscious thought associations, to do something different and interesting.
