well, they weren't forced to join... hundreds of thousands of dead muslims is much more tragic than 2000 ameriacn soldiers, no matter how you look at it.. americans are so patriotic, its fucking disgusting.
Yes, but where does it say that American soldiers must die for the muslims? Last time I checked any history books, we initiated our own revolution in the United States. France didn't come over and start fighting the Britts and then ask if we'd like to help. I also doubt that any one that signed up before 2001 was seeing a never ending war in Iraq in their future, either.
perhaps i'd feel more for their deaths if our country was the one invaded.. but alas, it wasnt.. more american soldiers need to die.
probably. I have a lot of friends that joined before the "never ending war" was foreseen. Also, the dumb ones that joined afterward some of them did it for the money. I went to a very poor public high school. The recruiters (I saw and heard them) said that they wouldnt get shipped over there. Some of them are in Iraq and Fallujah, but none have died (yet). I definately agree that the civilian casualties are more tragic, but for the most part, any death from this conflict is bad. (Unless someone blows up Bush) peace love and laughter Amanda
Doesn't seem right those soldiers dying over a pack of lies in a war with no mission or exit stategy. Hell....Bushy can't even give a clear reason why we're there. The whole dam mess is a national disgrace and Bush should be impeached and charged with his war crimes, anything less is an injustice to those dead soldiers and America
ok well Saddam did invade kuwait so we went in to arrest saddam . = an old say dont get mad just get even.
well, both, really. if more soldiers die (which they appear to be doing), obviously anti-war feelings will continue to grow (which they appear to be doing). but i wouldn't mind it if every single american soldier over there was shot and killed... i know i'd celebrate.
Soul You’re a jerk People, even soldiers, don’t just deserve to die especially when they are only pawns in other people’s game. What is wrong here is a corrupt system that has manipulated the US public into believing it is doing ‘good’ even when its governments and rich elite’s are doing the opposite.
so i take it you support the war then? i dont care if you do, but you cant be against the war while supporting the troops. the troops are the ones fighting the war, are they not? do you want the fighting to keep on keepin' on?? because, in the end, it is the troops doing the fighting... not the bigwigs in washington who are telling them what to do. the bigwigs in washington aren't in iraq pulling the triggers, are they? we can only hope, for the good of the world, for most if not all of the American soldiers over there to be killed.
oh such a terrible war, a free democratic Iraq! Oh my!! We are shooting terrorists, NO WAY!!! such a terrible thing we are doing by killing the same fuckers trying to bring thier jihad to our country. I would rather we fight the terrorists in Iraq than them to step foot in our homeland and fight them on our own territory. Yes, I support the war. No I do not support Bush in many ways, including the way the war was gone about. Soulrebel, why are you trying to justify terrorists murdering civilians and members of the armed forces? Isn't this what you are trying to shine a bad light on? And you want the people that are attempting to introduce a freedom that many Iraqis have never have had the chance to obtain murdered? I dunno, but I see you and your mentality a part of the problem.
if you support the troops so and believe what they are doing is good, why don't y'all go enlist or go to iraq and spend a few nites on the streets in baghdad? the catch is that you have to wear traditional islamic clothing. is a free and democratic iraq worth the lives of the hundreds of thousands of innocent muslims who have been killed due to the fighting? can you name any events where iraqi terrorists tried to bring their jihad into our country? and the "terrorists" fighting the american armed forces in iraq are doing nothing more than what we would be doing had they invaded our country.
Lets look at the facts here: 1. Nobody was drafted into the American Army. 2. The American army has a long history of brutally oppressing other people for its own political/economic gain. So it follows, every soldier signed up to be an international Nazi. I suppose they might claim ignorance, but honestly, rampant stupidity doesn't inspire a lot of sympathy. I hope every American (and British) soldier still in Iraq dies, or leaves in the shame of brutal defeat.
"...They got a buildin' down in New York City called Whitehall Street, where you walk in, you get injected, inspected, detected, infected, neglected and selected! I went down and got my physical examination one day, and I walked in, sat down (got good and drunk the night before, so I looked and felt my best when I went in that morning, 'cause I wanted to look like the All-American Kid from New York City. I wanted to feel like . . . I wanted to be the All-American Kid from New York), and I walked in, sat down, I was hung down, brung down, hung up and all kinds of mean, nasty, ugly things. And I walked in, I sat down, they gave me a piece of paper that said: "Kid, see the psychiatrist in room 604." I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I wanna kill. I wanna kill! I wanna see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth! Eat dead, burnt bodies! I mean: Kill. Kill!" And I started jumpin' up and down, yellin' "KILL! KILL!" and he started jumpin' up and down with me, and we was both jumpin' up and down, yellin', "KILL! KILL! KILL! KILL!" and the sergeant came over, pinned a medal on me, sent me down the hall, said "You're our boy"..."
This "hundreds of thousands" of muslims killed comes from the press estimate. And they're known to be reliable. How many innocent people died under Osama, while you're looking figures up.
