They blast so loud, so clear

    those mumbled soliloquies,

    spoken to mirrors and walls,

    nothing to do with madness

    just painless and convenient

    company.

And so much time left, so

    im constantly told.

    How different and calm now,

No tags thrown on walls, no

pills down my sock, no avoiding

Debt, no all night laughs and

    cries.

    Just this blurred clarity, and

the sound of distant voices that

linger now as whispers, and contentment,

    with a sliver of pride.
