Ok, Ok, Ok ... before I get the hate about smoking catnip I just want to let everyone know that at erowid, under the expiriences, there are alot of people who say catnips gives a good ... mild "buzz". Now do I agree? Yeah. I feel really calm, like all I wanna do is read a book, or just watch the stars. It's pretty nice ... I don't plan on replacing weed with it, but when I don't have weed and have nothing better to do with my time ... hey sure. Maybe i'll try the tea next time though ... 3 bowls is alot of smoke in the lungs at one time. Rock on! =]
Well now I just have a headache ... my advise - skip the catnip. That good feeling only lasted like 10 - 15 minutes, now it's just a lazy feeling.
3 bowls isn't alot of smoke for the lungs at one time... Try sitting down and smoking a ounce in 1 session... then that be alot of smoke.. and also yea I read about catnip yet to try it... I'll stick to weed.. but if I ever run low.. I might think bout it.. the only time I use catnip is.. when I put it in my cat's toy.. so he gets all hyper.. then I take a couple tokes and blow it in his face
I planted catnip but my cat just ignores it - mildly interested when I put it under his nose. What are its active ingredients, that would make you high?
i believe it is a kind of caffeine, that is what i once herd from an unreliable source. That is also pretty gross, when i first started i did once try smoking tea, which wad disguting.. and any buzz you get is placebo, the chemicals in the smoke have nothing to do with it.
Catnip can be used as a meat tenderizer or in a marinade, for taste. It's also called cat mint due to it's mint smell and flavor. It may be made into a tea but must be infused because boiling spoils it. Also, Catnip is categorized as a hallucinogen.
I have smoked a lot of catnip, it stinks when it is burning but it tastes sooo good. It like cools ur mouth, it has a very minty taste to it. I dont really like it that much tho.
I used to have a cat that was addicted to that stuff. I don't know what happened to that cat, though. I like to think that he went into rehab. Stay away from that crap, man.
