I no longer need to back comb them to keep them in... I've got a major halo of loose hairs, but I think it looks better than the random chunks of loose hair i had before.. I can feel em starting to get tighter.. GAH i cant wait for them to actually lock in... BTW, nvm the classroom setting, im in the video lab messin with the new iMacs.
haha, im not complaining... i am just really stoked. the past two weeks of looking at my dreads and being unsatisfied kinda sucked.
that sucks man... ive loved my dreads the entire time ive had em, but wasnt the biggest fan of the having to wake up every morning and backcomb my hair..
erm... well don't back comb them then =/ even if you choose the back comb method you only need to do it once, if you keep doing it they cant knot by themselves because you keep combing it about, you just have to leave them...for months, back combing in the mean time is only a quick cosmetic fix, its not going to really help
lux you raise a good point. Also Luxie m'dear... your hair in your siggy looks quite strange in the way its sitting. Not that it's a bad thing Night all
true. i chose to... but i wanted to look somewhat decent amongst my peers. not that i care what they think or anything, it just tend to shut them up..
you look a lot like the crazy guy from a scanner darkly the one that saw the bugs all over him dreads are looking good
lol sunflower you're right yeah dude just let them settle in. I did backcomb parts of them a few times in the first week, it helped to push it down to the roots and the girl who did mine got lazy on the top of my head so they needed encouragement, but it's not necessary, especially not everyday
