When confronted with logic and reason in the guise of religious satire, do you suppose that some Christians play the persecution card because they know that their beliefs are just plain silly and that they are unwilling to admit it to themselves because they have held tenaciously, comfortably, and ignorantly onto those beliefs for so long?
What makes your think they are wrong? You do not know everything that is to know, so you can not conclude that they are actually wrong. Yes, I admit chances are they are wrong, but why the arrogant posture towards something nobody knows, or most likely ever will or can know? I can provide you with 'logic' that confirms the existence of God.
Quote by Dutch filosopher Emanuel Rutten: 1. For all p goes that if p is necessarily unknowable, then p is necessarily untrue 2. The proposition "God does not exist" is necessarily unknowable 3. Ergo: "God does not exist" is necessairly untrue 4. Ergo: it's necessarily true that God exists
You just committed a fallacy. Argumentum ad ignorantium - Fallacy that something must be true because it has not been, Or can't be, proven false. If you can't prove that god doesn't exist, That means he must exist.
I did not, blame it on E. Rutten. This comes forth out of the principle that if something is necessarily unknowable it is necessarily untrue. I do not say I agree or disagree with it, just giving you logical proof for the existence of God.
It is quite apparent to anyone with half a brain that man was the one who created God. That does not necessarily mean that God exists. Man creates all sorts of imaginary things that do not exist, dragons for example.
My life is not sad at all. In fact, being an atheist has freed me from the burden of lies one must shoulder in order to believe in a higher power. I simply wish to enlighten and free those who are chained by the ignorance of religion.
Perchance, inform me of what is so ignorant about atheism. After all, it is the default position into which we are all born. Religion is taught.
