I guess it is similar to a 308, seems a little reckless to shoot deer that far maybe he is from California.
But impressive for a bullet that size..

Eh. I shoot 12ga. Foster. Good and tight for 100 yards or less. Long shots are for sportsmen. Short, clean kills are for people who need meat to survive.

NICE. i went out with dave one day, opening morning, and somehow he saw a few bucks running up the other side of a valley. he laid down on a rock, lined up his shot, and shot the deer through the ear and out the eye. he's GORGEOUS. dave had enough time after getting the shot off to line it back up in his site and watch him fall.

he's not the biggest buck ever, but he's still up on the wall, because that shit was AWESOME.

it wasn't 950 yards, though.

 

I didn't watch the first video till now. That was a great shot. I didn't know the guy was a marine sniper or whatever. I am not sure what my most accurate shots ever were. I can remember hitting targets at 1000meters with an M60 machine gun..with m16's/.223 the maximum effective range is no more that 550 meters and that is using some kentucky windage. I have fired missles though and hit at over 3000 meters. I have never been animal hunting, but people hunting, now that is a different story.
