    A Better Place

Is one where the fields can run free,
The streams can climb the tallest tree,
One where for but a moment, one is all,
A place where for but a moment, all is one.
    With a babbling brook, perhaps?
    And sun lazing along,
    Crickets singing mid-day lovesong.
    Where the roads are sidewalks,
    And sidewalks would be roads,
    All would ride bicycles,
    And plants just grow,
    Row upon row upon row.

    A Better Time

Is when I can be with the Earth,
when I can feel her sweet windy breath,
and not breathe the breath of death,
Clouds so thick, of dust and waste,
A gust and so, I feel the sickly taste.
A better time, would be oh so fine,
    Where the earth is one,
    and the people are another,
and in this other an' one, they are one-another.
