    Hello all,

I haven't posted here lately, but I have been reading posts at HF and, as always, I learn something. I feel that Project on Government Oversight (POGo_Org), NSWBC (NSWBC.org), ACLU (ACLU.org), and other similar organizations are very significant components to protecting the US Constitution, especially now during a time of siege on our rights, and as a result are also important to protecting human rights and freedom throughout our world.

These organizations are especially important right now as congressional hearings into alleged illegal activities by the present administration are likely approaching. Supporting these organizations, speaking-up, voicing your opinion are all very important at this point in history.

Your voice and, more generally, your actions can have a pronounced effect on our world; it may not be obvious but we, each one of us individually and as groups, can be vehicles for profound transformation.

    Peace,

    Agreed!

Funny how the ACLU has fallen into the same popular viewpoint as unions, the UN, and NAACP. All organizations that strive to protect the little man. Certainly all have had their share of problems/corruption, but so have the large corporations that have tried to erode every support system and agency developed to protect the lower classes. Yet as a whole we all buy into the marketing of supporting large corporations, and fall into the marketing by those interests that they should be protected but the individual should be responsible for their own well being.
