haha, its out on DVD, its a cult movie but nothing too hard to find. Its one of Kubrik's best movies.

Driving around at excessive speeds on narrow winding wooded roads is a fun time, speaking of Clockwork Orange. Sometimes when I'm riding around in the car getting stoned with my friends I feel like I can relate to the youth of A Clockwork Orange. Speeding is not always neccessary and random acts of violence are not committed, tho.

Clock Work Orange is an instance of a movie where reading the book prior to seing the film is a huge help.

It also helps to see other Stanley Kubrick movies. Like: 2001 A Space Oddesey and The Shining.

I love this book and the movie is done well. I wish you would look into it more and respect it like the great piece of literature that it is, might I suggest watching it sober, and doing a little research about it before hand.

You may be surprised as to the explanations of the title you will come across, its great food for thought!

Any fans of this movie? I saw it this weekend and loved it. I only read about a chapter of the book before i saw the movie, and now plan on reading the rest of it. Is the book or movie better?

I would have liked the movie better if I hadn't read the book first. The book is amazing....and yes in the US they leave out the last chapter. The missing last chapter pisses off the author Anthony Burgess, who btw hates the movie.

I love the film. It's just so odd. I think the reason people find it so over-rated is because of it's cult "Im cool, i've seen clockwork orange"

well I think it became a "im cool cuz I seen it" type of movie b/c of the controversy it had. In england it was banned from theatres after a women said she was raped and asulted by men dressed in white wearing masks and jock straps while sining "singing in the rain". There are two versions of the movie now. one that excludes the rape scene and the threesome.
anything that creates controversy like that seems to always attract a group of ppl that think it makes them cool if they seen it. the whole "forbidden" aspect I guess.

I have seen A clockwork Orange at least 20 times, and I love it. The book is very good and the movie has done it justice. You can't think of it as a "blazed" movie. Watch it once sober and really take it all in. It's really worth it. Although I have watched it blazed and that's fun too. But really it's a great piece of work. We had to read the book in highschool. CRAZY!
