Viktor Frankl wrote two books that stand out in my mind. Man's Search for Meaning, and Man's Search for Ultimate meaning. When we search for meaning, Frankl suggests we'll be able to see more in reality that we normally don't. He shows, very objectively, that man looks for both meaning and spiritual meaning but when we close off to it, our lives can go into a very odd direction and can prevent us from moving forward. He talks about how everyone's life is like a film at the end of their life. And if you remain responsible for your own existence, and see the meaning in reality, you'll be guided towards a purpose and at the end of your life, you would had created a film full of meaning. There is this consciousness researcher that believes that our consciousness is this meaning creating machine. The more meaning we see the higher up we go in conscious. He didn't say that specifically, but that is what I get from that. If you see more meaning in reality, your mind (and probably your body) literally enters into a new dimension of thought and you're able to see and feel more that is already there. -- Maybe DMT does this for us without any work required -- If you see no meaning in life, you can go into despair because Viktor Frankl believed that suffering without meaning leads to despair. If you close yourself to meaning, you go into despair and your body, mind, and spirit begin to rot away. Just look at Nietsche towards the end of his life. He created a maze of thought that focused on the meaningless of reality and he trapped himself there. Creating his own hell on earth because he closed himself off to meaning, and thus, reality. In lord of the rings, there is this scene that shows the fellowship entering into an ancient great city, being greeted by two statues. In America there is the statue of liberty, and Frankl started a project for a statue that represents responsibility. Frankl suggests that when we have both liberty and responsibility, then this will lead to freedom. I think that this story in LOTR is trying to represent what is happening in reality. We are moving back towards a great city of freedom. Daniel Danette looks into the nature of consciousness and explores into areas that most people were not willing to explore. Daniel Danette explains that ultimately, the nature of consciousness is an illusion brought on by its parts. This idea is something that makes most people uncomfortable, but there will be others that would dissect what he has to say and break away assumptions and try to leave the real substance of the truth. Think of Daniel Danette as being a part of the same coin. Those that earnestly seek out the truth will be guided in some way. There will be another side of Daniel, just like how C.S. Lewis was the other side of Freud. Freud said that the feeling of God is an illusion, and C.S. expressed otherwise. Where there is a Carl Sagan, there is a Richard Dawkins or another illustration that shows some kind of contrast. John Lennon talked out against religion, but he always expressed the importance of love. Anyone who expresses love and preaches it is considered a brother in the Bible. A belief in God isn't really necessary as long as they preach love. Someone who does this is someone who is genuine in their minds and hearts. Breaking down dogmas is very crucial in revealing more truth in reality, and when we look at our fears and explore them, more and more of the falsehood will break away, and more of reality will be revealed to us. The more the matrix will be diminished. Churches create their own doctrines and pretend that's what the Bible is expressing, but it isn't. That is something that is just added after the fact. I don't know if this is a conspiracy, but if there truly is a devil, wouldn't he try his best to twist the words of the Bible to keep people away from it, and thus, keep people away from the truth and God? The thing is, God doesn't require preachers and God does not live inside a building. But, people don't know everything, but if God is all knowing, or at the very least the MOST knowing, then who would know best other than God? What is the purpose of books other than to break down the ego? A ladder to be used to break away the falsehoods. A friend once told me, "Books are for babies", and that always upsetted me. I would get a little grumpy and tell my friend that he was wrong to say that because books are important for knowledge. But if you live in reality, the now, then you don't need books. What book, if God exists, would be best used to bring us out of the Matrix? What book would be better for that other than a book written by God himself? What would Satan do, if he exists, try to do to get us to not read it? Get us to believe that 1) God doesn't exist 2) The Bible is contradictory and false. 3) Convince us that Satan doesn't even exist. In Genesis, the very first chapter shows us how we lost paradise. Because of this, Genesis becomes the most important chapter. We believe in good and evil (false) and we dropped down to a lower dimension. The tree really does exist, and it carries with it the very idea of good and evil. That's just how the higher dimension works, it's a higher form of this world. Think of the homeostasis of nature. Do we have to till the lands to grow food? Do animals have fight or flight responses as to protect the delicate balance of life on earth? Do animals have defense mechanisms of all kinds to protect themselves? Usually animals don't attack unless their lives are endangered, otherwise it would be a waste of energy and it would risk their lives to do anything that isn't necessary for their own survival. Animals transfer energy by consuming each other. If we can imagine a higher form of this homeostasis, what would that be? -- What do cartoons represent? What is this thirst for animation? -- In the Bible, it states that when a man and a woman consummate they become one flesh. When we have sex, do we in some form, become one? If you truly love that person, and you have sex with love and feel connected to that person, you both feel as though you are one, no? What would that be like in a higher form? Would we become literally one? It's magical to think about, but who's to say magic doesn't exist? Do you agree that people are changing? Have there been floods? Has the weather changed? Does everyone look to Obama for hope and change even though he hasn't brought hope or change? Was Jesus' overall message hope and change for a better tomorrow? Were pigs not associated in some way with demons? What exactly do you disagree with, with the Bible? The Bible simply means the Good news. God came from the word Good. Is God the higher most form of good? There are lower forms of good but no such thing as evil. Just a thought, and something to toy around with.
