A Little Competition - Anyone? :D

The year is coming to an end, the winter is starting to bite - Christmas is coming.

So, while pondering the threads of Marijuana Growing I came up with a little idea. We all I have one thing In common ... and we all like a little competition now and then.

My idea is that, we create our own little for-fun-competition of our next year grow. By splitting threads into countries, we can upload fortnightly photos of our plants and compare them to other members.

Not only will it add a little twist to growing, we can share advice and tips on each other's grow, flattening any bumps that we may have on the journey.

At the end of the harvest, we could have senior growing member, or any moderator? - to judge each devision (country) on the overall quality. (Pictures of course)

Just a quick idea, let me know what you guys and gals think. Ways to improve it - different approach?

Coah, nice surprise. Didn't have anyone commenting after posting this, come on here today to find all of these comments. Nice to see there are some living soles on the forums - I know the traffic is alittle slow but I'm sure it will pick up coming nearer to the start seasons. This was just to gather interest and see who is up for it.

If there are any improvements or suggests you guys would like to put forward - make it fairer or, what ever you like

 

Maybe different awards as far as best/biggest/prettiest buds...
Def having some rules would be nice
Maybe prizes???

 

If we can gauge enough interest and looking ahead maybe this could become a yearly event.

At the moment, I will ask you guys if you could think of any improvements and suggests so far a suggestion from "PEACEISFREEDOM" that we could have a categories.

All rounder (Plant condition,bud amount..)

If this does really kick off, I'll send an email to hip forums expressing our interests in this idea and maybe they could create a award feature that will be tagged onto your account - for example

Like i said, this was just an idea - but if enough people are interested I'll invest some time to make some rules and what have you.

I think risk should be a category, as growing 100 plants in canada or spain is way different than growing 100 plants in the U.S.

Yeah man Im definitely up for that. Should have 40-60 outdoors for this March. Not sure what strain but the seeds are from some crusty up the mountain, I know its an Irish Outdoor strain anyway, same as what I had this year. If theres enough people in on this it could be pretty good.
