A Lovely Girl

Here is a picture I recently did for a friend.
She really loved it and I thought it had been
awhile since I shared anything with you groovin
cats so here it goes.


I tried my luck with some brown and redish tones,
instead of the same old.

 

I think it's awesome. You really know how to work light and shadow. beautiful!

 

The hair is pretty fantastic!! Was this charcoal, pastels, or crayons you used?

 

Thank you ZeppelinA. Shading is definately something that comes more naturally to me than the outline itself lol.



Crystal how is it going, thanks for noticing the hair. Usually thats the part that destroys me! I used Sepia tone charcoal pencils and some Reeves pencil crayons for the background.

I think this is the start of a new direction with my style, so I am pretty excited!
