Hi ! It's the first time i post anything on the internet about a dream.. This dream was so vivid ( with colours and all ) and soo weird .. So, in my dream i saw me trying to find a parking place . The place there was not a familiar one , there was builidings, squares .. So i finally parked my car and started walking . I was all dressed up ( nice dress, high heels, perfect hair) like i was going somewhere fancy.. As i was walking ( i was going somewhere) i passed by a crowded bar or restaurant .. It was full of people inside and outside. The colour of this bar/restaurant was red, black and white.. as i was turning on the corner ( this place was at the corner of the road) i turned and i saw the name of the street . It was ''Sade''.. It was written in English . I'm Greekcypriot by the way .So i kept walking . Many people were walking around. I remember seeing a square or something . I picked up my mobile from my bag and i called the person i was suppose to meet telling her '' i think i got lost'' .But after a while i saw the person that i was talking on the phone telling her'' hey i found you''. That was a friend i had 10 years ago and we had no contact ever since.i dont know why i saw her. Our meeting point was in front of at the ruins of a church . She told me it was St Constantine's. The weird thing is this ... I searced on the internet to see if there is a ''sade street'' on google maps.. and what do i see?? google found me a ''sade restaurant '' in London . So i saw the street ( with photo viewing) and the restaurant was like in my dream! at the corner , the same colour, scaring similar! i search a little about this . Its a meditteranean restaurant , not a typical english one. And i'm from a meditterenean island. I've never been to England by the way. The streets around the restaurant have many bars, buldings , stores like in the dream.. There is even a church almost opposite the restaurant! Seeing the friend in my dream i dont think its imporant discussing because i often see people from the past in my dreams and it never meant anything . any ideas please?? What was that with the place, and the streets sooo similar with my dream??
Hi jeanneioa, be welcome and here is a view. I think each dream can have multiple meanings, yet it's the dreamer inside you who knows better than any outside interpreter. And even as you try to make sense of it with your waking mind, the inner dreamer seeks to communicate and point out answers that are already there but not necessarly understood in the rational way. Like, the rational mind probably tells that you can not know this place if you never have been there. I think we live in a world of many layers where the one we take granted as waking life reality, is just one. Imagine each thought makes a print, each picture still exists somewhere in a multidimensional field; and even as the realities intertwine, the inner dreamer taps into the field, and creates playful ways of interaction with the waking person - the one you probably feel you are right now -, showing you how fluid this world is and how thin its layers. As you are not just the one who wakes up with questions, you are the dreamer too who steps into the unknown and feels like coming home. And so you get the message, much like you are found by a friend. Most likely we only get a hint of what is real, but also deeper inside we already know and walk it in dreamtime. We are multiple beings ourselves .... we tend to forget, and seek to remember. My suggestion to you would be to keep a dream journal, and watch and explore the dreams on your own terms, and find where you want to go with it. Thank you for sharing, I hope this makes sense.
Welcome here jeanneioa. I have a few random ideas to some symbols that can be extracted from your description, but you should maybe draw the big picture yourself. Driving/walking is something I usually associate with going through life. Parking would then represent settling down. The car would represent your power, energy and skills and competences needed to move forward in life. Turning a corner could represent taking a fast decision in life that has a large effect, and would be different from the preplanned "straight and narrow" road. The three colors white, red and black could represent birth, life and death - a whole life, I know you did not put them in that order, try to think about what this colour combination means to you. The name "Sade", well apart from the french marquis and the american r&b singer it does not ring a bell. You call someone from your past which may be the person you were when you were friends with her. A church is, at least by Freudian interpretation a female symbol since it is a "container". I think it represents a sancturary for your dreams, hopes, early unformed ideas and even secrets that you were able to share with your friend at the time, something you need in your life today but have not found elsewhere. This whas just some random thoughts, I hope they are of any use to you. I can never remember my own dreams which is maybe why I am a little obsessed with those of other people. thank you for your replies.. yes maybe i should visit London , and maybe i'll go to this restaurant that i found on google.. i'm not sure about this dream.. It was a bit different than other dreams ..
