I love beer. I love all kinds of beer. But, when I drink too much beer or too much alcohol in general I fall asleep. I never get that goofy, drunk, buzzed feeling...I automatically get tired. It's weird and I wish I could stop it...but no matter how much I eat or how much sleep I had the night before, I still get tired. Am I in the minority here? Does this happen to anyone else? My boyfriend hates that because whenever we go out to have a drink I always end up coming home and falling asleep right away. Maybe I just need to start drinking more often! LOL
i have friends who get tired pretty early. i stay up all night, while continuously drinking. but for those early sleepers, we just drag them around and keep them up - one thing we do to keep them awake is (*now dont' try this at home*) we run through traffic sometimes or we get them to dance. you can try drinking more, but i think you'll just end up passing out
try drinking jagerbombs. if you can fall asleep drinking those you got somekind of chemical imbalance cuz they are redbull and jaeger
It almost sounds to me like that getting tired part is the actual buzz. I know when I start to get all tipsy, my voice gets all scratchy and tired and then I start mumbling things, but I can't stop drinking once I start. Lucky you....
ah gotcha now hahaha - how often do you drink now and whats the average you drink on that night? i'm a tad bit high ahah
It depends...sometimes I will drink every night for three or four nights and sometimes I wont' drink for a couple of weeks or a month...it depends on what's going on in my life, if I have the cash, and if I have to work a lot. If I drink, it's usually two pints of microbrew. I'm a beer snob...I don't like the weak crap.
I like Michigan beer a lot. I'm a big fan of Atwater Rost...it's a German Amber...it's probably my favorite beer. I also dig the local breweries' Hefewisen and its Oktoberfest. No, just on birthcontrol. I love the Holy Moses
Ive never had that, but i usually drink Burning River. Their oktoberfest was good, but the christmas ale made me feel like christmas was already here and i got drunk and yelled at my boss on that stuff.. i want some more, but we dont carry it anymore.
Burning River is pretty good. I was in Cleveland last New Year's Eve and my partner and I went to the Great Lakes Brewery and checked out its selection on tap. They also carry it at the corner store near my partner's house, which is cool. LOL what was the Christmas ale like?
Booze usually gets me pretty sleepy too, but I generally am only drinking at the end of a day that I've usually spent working, hiking, whatever...so I'm starting out weary. A lot of factors contribute...the content of the beverage, how much, your own physiology, if there are other people around, what's going on while you're drinking, etc... Like saturday night at Midnight I'm getting my new Nintendo Wii and we'll all be getting thoroughly hammered, but will probably not pass out for quite a long while. But tonight when I kick back a couple shots of whiskey, I'll probably be out in 20 minutes.
the only way i can describe it is that it tastes like Christmas. you know the mixture of the aromas of crispy snow, pine needles and lit fireplaces. its great. definately invoked a very familiar feeling in me when i drank it. (thats prolly why i drank too much)
