Yes, I liked it. But it was a long time ago that I read it. Can't remember what happened. Was it about a guy in college?

I think I remember a bit more. Wasn't there a character who started having serious mental problems? Or am I getting mixed up with another book, possibly Catcher in the Rye?

I didn't like it when I first read it, but I like it alot now that I have had time to think about it. What a crazy book of killing friends and record breaking, and hard work, it had it all.

I read it in High School, I didn't like it much. I really don't remember much about it either.

I think now that I am older I may enjoy it more.

oh my goodness, this is the book that got me into reading books. i rememebr summer coming into 9th grade i had to read this, and i fell in love with reading. it was about a crazy mixed up friendship, a friendship torn apart down to the very bottom of their hearts. i thought it was well written too, and for some reason every other kid hated the book in my class, but i could talk abuot it all day. oh man what a great tale!
