Abortions - YES or NO?

when I've read this thread http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36514 I decided to make this thread..

are you FOR or AGAINST abortions, and why...?

 

Why have an abortion? Why not wait until the second the baby is born then kill the baby, uh, I mean it. I mean why should it be considered a person just because it's on the outside but five seconds prior it was still just a fetus. Does the exact same thing. Much safer for the mom and that's what everyone's concerned about. Right?

It really all depends on if the parents are ugly or not.

 

this is an "iffy" topic, but when i think of abortions, i'm reminded of how people eat eggs. that egg by itself can't survive without it's mother there to keep it warm. and the same applies to humans. the mother is the life support system for the embryo growing insider her. embryos cant exist by themselves, so that proves that the embryo is not a valid life form, but its just in a becoming stage, but this depends on how early you have the abortion. for that matter, as of now, im not sure it has to do with ethics, i think it's merely preventing an inevitable outcome that the person caused themself.

This is stupid. The baby needs its mother or some sort of mother after it is born for several years. We are not like reptiles, that just come out and are fully developed. Just like fetuses, babies cannot exist by themselves....
