I smoked salvia for the wrong reasons, to trip balls. I think that reason is why I am turned off of it now. I hate the taste, I hate the trip, I hate the after glow. I haven't done it in over a year, and never will again. I'm sorry.
I can identify with you on the taste.. I thought it was ok at first.. but that damn dirt taste gets old FAST!!!
I totally understand. It's just not the same as acid or shrooms. I still think there is something to learn from it, but it's not to be treated like a party drug. Salvia pulls you down and in, you go to a primordial level of the subconscious and lose some or most access to your ego-consciousness as well as your motor control. I think that, at heart, all psychedelics are for learning, but acid and shrooms, and especially weedski, are much friendlier than Salvia.
Honestly I've done it about 20x and just love the feeling/ taste/ everything about it. I could def. see abusing it producing terrible effects, as it is very powerful. I have a lot of respect for this herb and its powers.
salvia is not a party drug!!!! how many stupid kids think that salvia is not a drug you do at a party! you have to do it in the right enviroment.
I really wish I could substitute this for pot... it just doesn't quite fit the mold.. some aspects of salvia are better than pot.. but not true with some others.. Salvia just isn't as easy or as tame..
Totally agree. I want to keep Salvia in my life and do it now and then, but weed - weed is a friend. Weed fills my head with music, makes my fingers want to draw, fills my tongue with poetry, and helps me see a side of life that I don't always see when I'm cold sober.
and it tastes/ smells wonderful! I prefer the smoking experience as opposed to the high experience.. just love the smell and taste and how great it feels going down to my lungs!

I kind of like the high better. Salvia still creeps me out, and I don't know why. I want to get out of America so fucking badly.... It's not even funny. I'm tired of this fear, tired of the DEA assholes, tired of republicans shoving their laws down my throat.
I defintaly know what your talking about a couple years ago one of my friends was given some by a girl who had just got back from amsterdam and he was amazed it was legal in the u.s so he got online and ordered like a pound of it. We would smoke it everyday one bongload after another. Now i cant stand anything about it.
yea... there's just something uneasy about salvia.. I still have a lot of anxiety and fear to deal with right before I hit the bong.. I don't know why..
Salvia goes in a different direction. Acid, goes up. Shrooms, go out. Salvia, is like the sinking ship of the mind. Powerful in that it reduces reality to elementals. I think. I personally think it's legal mainly because it's so strange. All the legal drugs are either deadly, weird, or bogus.

I've been looking at all the recent threads, and I've pretty much given up on humanity. I researched salvia for frickin 6 weeks before I had the nerve to try it. People are so lazy they'd rather jump right into a new drug without knowing anything about it than spend five minutes doing a google search. I love everything about salvia.
