Acid without pot

Nothing happened?! Took a hit of this stuff with pot, and I was tripping my face off. Took the same acid, one hit, and nothing happened.

A total of a minute worth of visuals throughout the trip. No great insights, no insane thoughts, no breakthrough revalations, just felt high!

What did happen though is I felt kind of drunk when I sat or laid down, like my body was spinning inside. And I couldn't sleep all night. And instead of thinking really deep out there thoughts, I just thought really deep into normal thoughts. Like I thought about my parents, and relationships, and I thought about love. But not in the pure unconditional love free from all form sense, just love like man I really love my family, family is important! That type of stuff.

What sucks is I was at a carnival, with fireworks, and I was expecting to be tripping balls! Nope just look, "oh cool, some trails". Damn brain must not open very far without its good friend pot. Kind of want to try this again with a bigger dose though, see what happens!

 

How long ago did you take the other hit?

I honestly prefer not smoking during an acid trip...i did when i first started tripping though. now even if it i try, i realize it's hard to light a bowl while tripping...and even if im successfull, i just have no desire for the smoke in my lungs. my boyfriend habitually packed a bowl while we were candy flipping at all good, and after his first hit he was like i don't know why i packed this. it was funny! but yeah try it again with out the bud

 

How long did you wait in between dosing? How were you storing it? Did you dose on an empty stomach or after a meal either time?

I think the answers to those questions are more likely the reason for your underwhelming trip, rather than you not smoking weed. Then again, some people have a much stronger reaction to pot than I do, and I can't speak from experience as I have never done any psychedelic without smoking weed.

The effects of acid change for me every time. Sometimes it'll be purely visual. Others I'll only have far out thoughts or just get some trippy feelings. Then there are different types of visuals and shit. I guess it depends on the state of mind and the acid.

 

ah so you read my dmt post? i wouldnt be into drugs at all if my sober life wasnt so boring. i like to be entertained by the thoughts and images my mind can produce while on a psychadelic. also doesnt weed fuck withevery ones memory maybe it fucked with yours you just dont remember. i stoped it because i have a powerful memory.

 

Pot effects pretty much everyones memory. Lately instead of trying to force my mind to try to remember something, Ive been practicing clearing my mind and letting my thoughts and memories come to me. It really works, I just remembered a whole smash mouth song out of nowhere! And I remember trying to sing it before and being unsuccessful. Even when I'm really high I can remember stuff easier now.

 

I took acid like 3 days before that.

As for dosage I took half hit then half hit 20 minutes later.

Then I ate some clams and potatoes about 20 mins after that.

Idk, during like the peak I could tell it was working, everything looked all acidy, strange head space, just nothing fluidly moving. Pretty sure if I would of hit a bowl, it would of come thru like a typhoon and trip-a-tize everything!

You probably only felt anything the 1st time because of the weed period. Taking 1 hit of acid is basically a waste.

I have noticed that just a hit or two of some good weed when you start to feel the acid coming on brings out more patterns and generally enhances the experience. But thats just me and others may have different opinions.

 

Some people say their thoughts get clouded and they lose mental clarity or something along those lines, idk. I always smoke on the come up, 2-4 bongs rips can really blast you off.

 

Yeah I like pot for the blast off effect, but 99% of the momentum has to come from the LSD and the tripper. I feel like inthydreams relies too much on pot as a crutch to trip, sure you would have been more 'fucked up' if you machine gunned some bong rips after that second time, but if you really wanna trip hard, increase dose. are you taking blotters strong enough where 1 is enough? doesn't sound like it, those are pretty rare. Even the incredibly powerful Hofmann 2010s won't make you really 'trip' from one, you'll need 2 to start entering generous lysergia.

 

Well I usually smoke for the blast off effect, and then usually don't smoke again until the comedown. In the middle of a full on acid trip the clarity is so extraordinary that it seems to completely over power the weed high. I am pretty much a pot head so I do love smoking lots of pot though. Perhaps I'll try a higher dose without pot, it wasn't the greatest acid anyways.

 

Yeah, I hate smoking weed while tripping on any type of psychedelic. The buzz from most psychedelics(especially LSD) is really light and gentle, while the buzz from weed is really heavy and more of an intoxicated/alcohol-like feeling. I always feel like weed sort of ''takes over'' the magical feeling of LSD. It's annoying.

But even though you only had a few visuals doesn't mean it was a disappointing trip. I've been on trips with no visuals and a small buzz and I've been on trips with full-blown OEV's while trying to figure out if I'm even alive or not. Just depends on your mood, set, setting, source, tolerance, and dose.

 

Hahaha, increase dose You won't even be able to feel weed on a good dose of 'cid, it will be like throwing a pebble into a hurricane.

Take 300ugs of LSD or a quarter of shrooms or even 500mgs of mescaline and THEN say they are "light and gentle".

What do ya think Mr. Writer, is some DPT in order for this kid? That would definitely alter his opinion about how "gentle" psychedelics are. Hell that would alter his opinion about everything.

 

Oh god he should not take the deep, he is not ready. I mean, no is ever really ready, but if anyone is not ready it's someone who says lsd is really light and gentle lol.
