Hey, my name is Louisa, I am 18 and a student at Wayne State University in Detroit. Anyone else from the D? I'd love to hear from you... Anyway... I have spent far too much time in one place and I know there is just so much to see and experience, and I've hardly been out of Detroit for the past 18 years, and I really want to travel around this spring/summer. I'm not wuite sure of my destination, but I don't really want one anyway... just floating around would be fine.. So.. is anyone up for an adventure? I really don't want to do this alone, and I know there are so many free thinking people out there that I am dying to meet... I am "relying on the kindness of strangers" for a place to stay, etc. I have considered possibly working on an organic farm in Willits, CA or any of the many others across the U.S. Any recommendations? I have this, perhaps naiive dream of putting ten bucks in my pocket and driving towards the sunshine til I meet a free thinker like myself, then we'll meet another and another and soon there will be this group of peace-loving / free-thinking young people travelling across the country... like a peace train ... Anyone up for it? Let me know...
That is so cool. I wish more 'students' would seek life experience. There's a few forums 'round here that could help you out with that. I always get happy when I think about 'students' going on a grand life adventure. Right on.
