Hey all. There used to be a show called Aeon Flux on MTV for a lil while like 10 years ago. It's about a dominatirx looking assassin it was like anime/sci-fi. Well, they are making it into a movie & Charlize Theron is going to be in it. It should be interesting.
I love aeon flux, some of the details of that show are amazing. I like charlize theron but i really hope they don't try to make the movie all glossy and pretty. One of the cool and sexy things about her are the weird contortionist moves she makes and situations that make her less than miss-america-looking. i remember one scene where she's falling down this canyon on a mission, looking through binoculars and her face is flapping back from the pressure and drool is coming out of her mouth and her eyes are pouring tears from the wind. lol. i doubt they'd do anything so unglamorous in the movie. it'll be interesting to see how crazy they can keep a 2 hour feature and i don't have too high hopes but, we'll see!
i love the show peter chung has a lot of talent to have created that show its still on mtv2 once in a while on like saturday night
wehay! other people have seen this! For years I've tried to describe it to my friends. I was the only one who'd caught it on MTV. The same artist did the last short on the Anitmatrix series. -The best one of course!
yeah, i'm always kinda skeptical when people want to make a live-action movie adapted from an animated show. but, hey, it may be good...tank girl worked, so this might work as well we shall see...
Looks like it has good potential. I remember being in 4th and 5th grade and staying up to catch Liquid Television to watch the original Aeon Flux shorts...and of course Dog Boy and Joe Normal....
