has it really been that long? well hendrix, i remember was early 70s, within less then a year of janice. which i remember thinking looked suspicious and might have had something to do with kennidy. but i'm pretty sure i know now what actualy happend to hendrix, and it 'could' have been an accident. and janice, well i think she may have been an accident looking for somewhere to happen. though i still feel sad she couldn't have found more happiness in her own life. but then again romantic legends tend to get exagerated and so i don't really KNOW that either. but the jerry as in the jerry of THE greatful dead. well i was never that much into their music, but the feeling, the sense of openness and acceptenceness that was an intigral element of what we were all about or at least attempting and intending to be. peace park and all that. the war and eventual if fleeting conquest of u.c. berkley. closest i ever got to any of that was a kind of quasi-commune in sothern oregon. (and that was only in the late 70s, when what i felt it was all about was no longer new) of course i went down to the bay area occasionaly to visit. but i was never able to stay or know anyone there or be a part of that when it was going on. =^^= .../\...
