i like the idea of interconnected adressbook and aim is my fave IM ware but it comes with aol explorer and i was about to go back to the old version until i found out the uninstall program is to be found in "program files" (it's not listed in the manager and there's no shortcut to it!). it's really commercially oriented but i have to admit the software in itself is great. the 2nd topic. just a question. does anyone use, i mean, test Deer Park a1 or a2 ? (if don't know what i'm talking about, it's because ur a l4m3r)
on the second topic, I did try the Deer Park Alpha (that is, Moz Firefox 1.5 when in test phase), but stuck with 1.06, 1.07 until the official full release of FireFox 1.5, just a week or so ago. I'm running Firefox 1.5 at home just fine now, my preferred browser, though I still use IE6 sometimes.
I need IE6 only for windows update but IE doesn't seem to work with my ADSL box connected thru my ethernet (LAN) card. no matter the settings, or lack of (a reliable browser should detect this automatically). Now DP is for the future Firefox 1.6... of course it has a lot of bugs (that i report) but the new features are good.
