unused means nothing illegal which means no reason to search which means you're good edit: shit, just read the whole thread. i'd look up the whole illegal piece thing
i tried looking all that shit up, im not finding anything. ive never heard that before... and i know people who live in PA who have ordered glass pieces from the internet and received them...
would security even be able to see it if it was wrapped up in paper and in a plastic bag inside my carry on? like i dont really get how those machines work but would it just be like a glass thing or would they see it as something potentially dangerous?
I brought 6 glass pipes and an 8th with me from Mexico, easy as pie. If you're worried about your parents seeing it I wouldn't put it in your bag. Security can check your bag for no reason. Just a random check. I seem to get it every time I fly. I must look like a terrorist. I would try and find some way to keep it on you. But even then it's not guaranteed. I really don't think you would have a problem legally though.
if it's clean they can't do shit, you legally bought it. they might try to hassle you but you'd never be charged with anything because there'd be no evidence of rez
As far as I know glass is fine in PA, Philly at least. I've heard stories of headshops (including my favorite one) closing down on suspicion of paraphernalia or some such bs and they were open the next week. If its clean and they hassle you tell them its for tobacco/you're a traveling glass blower. Good luck.
I went to florida last January. On my way home I was pulled aside and completely searched. patted down and all. Bags were completely manhandled. I had no paraphernalia but I was a teenager and i was by myself so i guess that could cause some speculation?
I bought a piece last time I was in Philly and mailed it back home to myself. It worked fine. It got there on christmas eve so it was a cool gift to myself.
i meant cause its just glass and not metal. but im not worried about the legal issue, obviously if theres no resin then its perfectly legal, i just dont want them to question it because i dont want my parents seeing it.
