I know it's been brought up before...but: If I were to put say 1g in everclear would this work if i were to shake up the mixture and let it sit for a few weeks? People have said that you need to heat it up or something, but i know ghost of rat said that all he did was put bud in some alcohol. Also, would this work in vodka? Tanky Tanky
the more alcohol.. the better the extraction.. and yes... vodka works.. and no.. you dont need to heat it up.. just let it settle in the bottle for a couple days
I've heard some other information on this. It isn't neccessary, but you may heat the extract up, which some people say makes it more potent. I haven't seen a difference by doing so from personal experience... I did, however, find it awsome heating it with honey and lemon juice. It made a nice cold medicine. Have fun!
^The higher percentage of alcahol the better. Vodka works, but I wouldnt use anything lower than 40%. Im soon going to make a new batch of green dragon using absinthe- 89% You must let it sit for at least 3 weeks, the reason some people lightly heat it- is to reduce the ammount of time you have to wait, but personaly its too much hassle and id rather just be patient. You must also shake/stir it every few days. Also its much easir to use more weed than less. 1g isnt very much considering many people see 2g's as a good amount to eat/drink. I would usualy make enough for about 5-10 doses, and the alcahol will preserve it so it wont go off.
Ive almost fully answered it. I also would like to highlight the impotance of breaking/ crushing up the weed. The more crushed up it is the better the extraction will be, this is why it is easier to deal with a larger ammount of cannabis rather than a small ammount. A small coffee grinder is good to use, otherwise I guess you could just cut it up small with some scissors.
