of COURSE there are worlds, circling other suns, that have funny looking people living on them. the universe is simply too big for there not to be.

its the idea we might have anything they want, or that they have the slightest interest in taking it from us, while great for either drama or comedic relief, that is absolutely ridiculous.
(this may have its roots in a kind of collective guilt complex, about the european invasion of the western hemisphere resulting in the nations that are here now, on land that was in every way stolen from the people already living here at the time. the logistics of this taking place between worlds that are so far apart it takes light itself decades or even centuries to make the trip, makes doing so, at any level of technology, unlikely. and after what WE've done to this earth, someone else would really want to take it from us? really? the only use for invading/altering earth, for anyone from somewhere else, would be to con us into becoming conscripts in some REALLY FAR distance war, that would otherwise be of no interest nor concern to us.)

My observation is that if sentient beings exist elsewhere,they should avoid this joint at cost of their lives. We shoot first and ask questions later. Seems ridiculous to assume that in all of existance(pretty big place!) that we are alone. I feel like there may be "places" and "things" going on in some,maybe many, planes of existance with wondrous variations of what we understand to be possible,that even if "explained" to us--would be incomprehensible. Probably makes sense to be agnostic about this. What's interesting to me ,are the stories of those who say they have been taken,checked out and returned. Who knows?? A form of Munchausen or real?

 

Could be both because how would you describe when they hypnotize alien apductees and have the re-live the experience.. very interesting to watch...

and what boggles my mind is the fact that the universe is still expanding, our consciousness must be growing, and i have no doubt there are an infinite planes of other universe all laying parallel to each other..

Evolution is survival of the fittest. But there are small things that can cause sudden changes. And I shouldn't have to point this out.

Like the intermixing of monocots and dicots, seemingly within each other's domians. It's a fundamental difference affecting many things, and apparently a simple switch.
