July 11th-13th. Last years line-up was the best in the country, by most people's standards. Let's see if they can somehow top it this year. http://www.allgoodfestival.com/ More to come, as info is released...
the line up on the website was the 2007 artists. they havent announced 2008 artists yet, but I'm going no matter whos playing. the last 2 years have been my favorite 4 days of the year.
im gunna try to make it to wv this year. I got in a financial situation last year and couldnt make it.
I'm really bummed that I'm going to miss it this year. I need to start finding good west coast festivals. I may miss out on most things this summer as I'll be in the middle of moving.
this'll be my first All Good but im pretty excited seeing as the past few years line ups were awesome
does anyone remember when they put up the first lineup last year? UH I CAN'T WAIT. i'm sooooooo excited to know who's gonna be there. I'm hopin for some medeski, martin and wood..maybe scofield too.? ah i wannaanana know soon!

now that does sound like a good lineup... funny too cuz about 2 minutes ago i was on the allgood site checking out the lineup.... hope im gonna be able to make it thiss year... missed 11 last year cuz i was broke from my burning man excursion...
looks like alot of the rothbury bands are heading to WV afterwards. I think I might just have to join them
okay, don't get me wrong. i LOVE all good. as a matter of fact, i have only missed two all goods-- the year they were in spotsylvania and the first year at marvin's. I LOVE THIS FESTIVAL, but i think th eline up is kind of meh. where's ween? the flaming lips? perpetual groove? i KNOW it will be an awesome weekend (always is), but i am not as stoked about the line up as i have been in years past. i mean, i have seen all these bands a billion times-- panic never does it for me, phil puts on the same show (though i always enjoy it) and blah blah blah into infinity. i don't know why i am bitching. i work with the festival,s oi get alot of ammenities. i guess some folks can never be pleased.... oh, and this like the ONE festival the Avett Brothers won't be playing at??
i mean dude you still have to wait for the complete line up to say that and see whos playing the late night shows and shit, cuz thats usually my favorite sets at allgood, last year was sick with sts9 at 3am with the fog rolling in, the next night was moes all star all good super jam, and they did a 10-15 min version of cortez the killer with grace potter singing. that was one of my favorite moments of live music ive ever witnessed/heard. plus they will add one more headliner because i don't think gov't mule is headlining, since panic and phil were in big letters at the top of the line up. so just wait and see i bet you it will be a dank line up by the time the festi starts.
Many more bands to come. Give it time. Though I will say that they won't top last year. And there are at least 3 festies with better line-ups at this point.
the chance that ween or the lips will be added is slim to none-- however, i hope they do add a pgroove set.
