It is amazing how you guys bicker between each other... it is amazing how the two candidates bicker constantly over little mundane technicalities, yet in reality, they couldn't agree more... what a joke...

no no no obama is a fascist socialist racist classist and mccain is the savior of the free world don't you people understand anything?

this election would matter a hell of a lot to me if i were african-american

as it is i will just be relieved to have someone who appears different [even if it is only an appearance] in office for a change

Bush was reelected over the popular vote and now our economy has taken a dump. This is an important election.

And perhaps legislatively McCain and Obama don't differ that much, but today is a time when we need a statesman not more war mongering.

you are going to get war mongering with Obama... it will just be worded differently to fit his platform of change.

btw he is going to move the war from Iraq back to Afghanistan for god knows how long...

he's not a magician. he can't erase the mistakes we made, and he can't wave his magic wand and eliminate the vacuum that would be left in the event of a precipitous withdrawal. Being president is not about dictating reality, it is about wise and measured execution of the legislature's will.

Smooth transition from one president's foreign policy to another's is not done before inauguration, but after. Coming out now and saying he will negate the Bush doctrine and the Bush wars would be disastrous for all involved.
