Almost Shot on Halloween!

holy shit! we hit the Castro last night and everything was Jesus. We're partying it up watching people go crazy, smoking, drinking and eating candy, looking for girls, I mean it was all good. Cops rolled around, around 10 and started telling individual groups to clear out. They were supposed to have street sweepers, like at Mardi Gras, but I encountered no such thing. anyway, my friends and I wanted no trouble so we did it moving. around 10:45 or so we hit 16th and Market trying to get to the car and, pop pop pop pop, muthafuckers started firing shots. 2 groups shooting at each other not giving a fuck about innocents. we hit the ground and cover up. my friend had a wetter on him so, I told him not to pull it out. he freaked out, thinking he might get wrapped for a concealed weapon so we hit the car real quick and head back to the P. I heard around 10 people were shot. thoughts and prayers go out to them. what a fucking night, people can't just have a good time without shit popping off.

sad thing is, this type of shit is all too common and now they might shut down Castro Halloween parties.
