Ok here is the scoop. I wanted to open a topic about pupil dialation, and was going to name it "dialated" ... Well I wasn't sure of the spelling so I got out a dictionary to look it up. Seriously I was looking in that dictionary for like 30 minutes and could not find that word! Anyway, I digress ... So isn't it so cool how our pupils dialate. Like totally go smoke and then stand in front of a mirror with your hands over your eyes, than take them off and watch your pupils. I know it sounds dumb, but after doing it a few times it's really quite interesting. Like how do they do that? I know WHY, but HOW? somthing to think about. And seriously, try it. it's crazy.
Yeah we'd do that with flashlights as kids Have you ever notice some people pupils if you look at it , it kinda breaths, dilates and constricts slowly...
my eyes are like this always when im tripping, at moments not even dialated but constricting and going in and out of dialation, it's really cool watching.
you have rods in your eye that shrink and expand to protect your eye based on the amount of light....you also have a spchincter in your eye...anyone want to guess where you got another one...
yeh, its just a ring of muscles underneath the iris which opens and closes depending on the amount of light that gets in. when your mind is active, the pupils dilate, like when youre stoned or trippin or on mdma. when your mind is inactive like when youre on opiates, they shrink, and the iris flattens over the pupil.
Yeah you can see that with parrots. They pupils are all small, you say a word they dilate...Their life must be quite stimulating
