you know. I think the first most plausible step for world change is getting marijuana legalized.

 

I too am angered by this, while being sadened. I want to see a change. I want to be the change. What to do..what to do..

 

Its in our nature to kill each other, the desire for power or the will of religion is just to powerful. the best thing someone can do is promote peace and never allow violence to rise over it.

If it were our nature to kill others then why are there so many who actually believe and practice non violence and peace? Look at traditional Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Druidism, and several other religions, encluding mine Eaism, all of these speak out against violence to your fellow man. The problem with society around the world is so many people believe the way you do, no offense, and they feel that power is neccesary to live.

Why do you feel this way? What facts can you give that support this theory?

If all of us who wanted this change on this website were to meet together somewhere and begin to protest I can gauruntee some change would happen. Wether good or bad it would happen.

 

We may believe that we are a non violent people but when it comes to the crunch everyone is capable of great violence for the right cause.

Religion may preach pacifism but in the end even the religions become corrupted by greed and in turn violence.

Power is not necessary to live if we were a peaceful species but that simply isn't the case. We are a governed by greed. Greed is fed by violence.

There are only a select few who are true pacifists and much honor to them.


However much we may have evolved in our time, we are still savage animals playing at being civilized. We have a long way to go.

 

well for starters you could do something to stop obama from sending troops into afganistan.

then overthrow the economic system and put a new system in its place.

then legalise psychedelics and introduce spiritual centers.

Religion and language are man-made things that were designed to create differences between groups of humans. How many wars were fought simply for "religion"?

 

I am not sure about where you are from... but around here the majority of people want change. I live in a college town and we do want something to be done. Its kind of pointless saying one wants something done when they do not suggest what should be done. I'm going to DC this weekend to rally for green jobs. Its nothing big, and I do not claim green jobs will fix the world or anything. But its a start. Do your part and be in the right places... you will find there are many people who "think something should be done" as well.

if you think something should be done, why not prepare yourself and develop into a person who can be part of the change

IF you guys want to help change the world, I think that change must occur in media displayed values. Create art and share ideas that are not about making a point but rather about celebrating what is common to us all and the values that bind us. do not support things that you disagree with, but do not alienate yourself from the people that you want to convince to change.

i believe huge rallies are going to be happening soon just a hunch, like 60's all over type stuff lol...anyways iam going to play my guitar until iam good enuff and when its time probably sometime this summer iam going to go into the times square train station and just play my heart out,iam pretty sure a singers path will cross with me lol ....as for now iam trying to focus on getting my own personal stuff togehter and also mindset for the upcoming summer, going to be a beautiful one haha..if that doesnt work iam just going to try to gather a gang,,,a peace gang and march across nyc lol

 

and the world is earth lol cant say much on what it is but i live here so it doesnt bother me lol as for one of my theorys, everything comes from water so that means earth was a ball of water at one point and then you have a ball of fire so space could be really a huge place with all different elements represtented by planets...another theory i have come up with is the i dont give a shit one haha:cheers2:

 

Im not pissed off or saddened by the world. I love life, and the world around me. I creat my own reality, and I am happy with who I am in this world.
Im not upset about the "mind numbness" because, personally, i don't care whats going on in other peoples minds. People are free to be lazy thinkers, hazy thinkers, and crazy thinkers if they wish.
