Rear admiral insists military personnel can't attend faith based meetings. Strange thing that rear admiral died in 1986. And the military ruling has nothing to do with Obama. But this email is out there again. One should question who's putting it out there? http://www.snopes.com/politics/religion/faithbased.asp
I used to get these from my conservative friends pretty often, but my habit of clicking "Reply all" and debunking them has taken me off of their send list. I do however still have someone send one occasionally, asking what I think about it, with email history removed. What I've found is the conservative types really don't care if these emails are truthful or not, I think they get a certain amount of validation from seeing their political opinions reinforced in print. With them, the end justifies the means and if lying can change the political structure to suit their diluted fantasies, so be it. All of this reinforces my opinion that these people should be kept as far away from the voting booth, and gene pool, as possible. .
