    America is false.

There is no reality in America, just some uncharted child's dream made reality by senseless dreamer who have lost all hope in humanity way too long ago.

America has no history, only fabricated heroics and false patriotic morale.

America has no culture, other than this consumarist daydream, dollar life, Disney nightmares.

There is nothing here, America is false. America doesn't exist.

All that there is here is a false destructive dream. You are a part of the dream, you dream through your American life covered with the illusion of materialistic comfort. Giving your life away to a senseless dream.

There is a real world out there,

    Open your eyes America.

Oh, and shove your dream up your ass... oh American dream.

The problem is that the "American dream" isn't the same dream that americans have anymore. I really don't think they were ever the same. But the problem is world wide. The main factor is that MAN CAN NOT HANDLE POWER. No man can handle power. When a few have power a lot have none. This is a machine, this america of today. The middle class or whatever you want to call it are the ones that pay, the ones that are so controlled and helpless and have to fight to gain an inch then the government sets you back two inches. Sorry, just venting. Just dont confuse america and what it stands for today with the individual americans, the living, breathing, thinking people.

Individuals are always amazing, no matter who they are. They problem is that they are sucked into the whole.

I truly love every individual as a human being, and can probably find common ground with every person on this earth.

The individual is not the problem, the group is.

    ...and to clarify.

There is a whole lot of positive about gringolandia.

This land does give people a whole lot of opportunities, but... it also distracts them from real life by doing so. Life is about experiences, pain, suffering, laughter, people, the moon, dancing, talking midnight walks, staring at the rain, talking to strangers, hugging the homeless, eating the stars.

The American society just pushes people away from that, and it's sad. Even the most intelligent people get sucked away into this.

And I am proud to call you friend brave sir rubin. I knew there would be "thinkers" on this site, that is why I joined. It is just so hard to break away from the grasp, to break from the whole (or hole may be a better use of the word) At least the way you are brought up you are kind of trained to think that it is hard to break away. If I didn't have some of the responsibilities that I have I would find a mountain somewhere and just live. But that doesn't change anything, it just removes you from the reality of it all. How do you change or stop the machine? I guess that is what we hippies have been trying to do since the 60's.......maybe.....someday.....

The whole world sucks, but America sucks the least.

(the grass is always greener on the other side much?)

That's pretty much what I did. I found my moutain. My mountain is far land in the middle of nowhere in Florida, the beautiful solitude.

The responsabilites are good though, they are always good. I think that a hard life is much better, or at least much more educational than an easy one.

People in America have it too easy... it doesn't build any character.

    Yes... buying.

I even find myself falling a bit into this consumerism. I do buy rather productive things, like guitar thingies and art supplies... but, it's still there.

    Damn this American beast.

Yes, but remember, what you buy is never really yours because the government can take it away at any time, especially land and home. God bless america.

Yes, guitar thingies are very important, you really cannot have enough, lol. I have limited myself to 3 guitars and 2 amps. For me, anything creative is worth spending money and time. But do I need a new car, bigger house, boat, etc. I don't think so. But my neighbor just did......I still dont care, let them spend the money. I deffinately am making progress.

You see, I don't really need two guitars, but I bought another one to have an electric and an accoustic.

To be honest, I don't really need a guitar, or a house, or a car, or a boat, or anything else.

I would probably choose the guitar over the rest of those options as it is.

I would choose my paints, and my notebook as well.
Thats what this world needs more people who choose art (or music) over typical comforts.

I agree and to make myself feel better I bought the occoustic and one electric but the other electric came from my dad after I had bought the first electric. All fender so I guess I am a little too particular. But I could live with just an occoustic but I would want something because guitar is a passion of mine. Music an poetry/lyrics are the only passions that I still pursue.
