lastnight i was flippin through the boob tube and stopped on american idol just as this performance was starting.

I was so touched by it, i have no idea why, maybe its the song, maybe its the way he sang it- but it brought tears to my eyes and now i will share with you

maybe its the recording but its nowhere as exciting as the original. he has a cool laugh though.

 

i dont think 'exciting' was the emotion he had in mind while doing this song, but nonetheless I agree that the original is more exciting....

 

i meant "exciting" as in more interesting to listen to. this angel guy is just kinda boring to me.

 

i personally was never a big fan of the beatles or lennon, in fact i've never really had any interest in their music whatsoever so I cant say im familiar with the emotions/feelings of their songs....

i liked this kids version because it felt genuine, and i believed that he felt the words he was singing....not neccesarily exciting, but still captivating.

 

meh, i don't know. i might agree but i play the song at some of my shows. i wasn't really feeling this guy.

That was terrible.

It sounded like he was trying to sound emotional, not like he was the least bit sincere.

You just think he's cute.

i dont think it was terrible at all, thats the thing about music though isnt it? its all a matter of perspective

lmfao, i dont pay for shit.............if i care enough, i may favorite it on youtube, but thats the extent of it...

not really in the mood to argue 'quality' music, i appreciate all forms of music and won't shit on anyone's parade who follows their dreams of being a musician....shitty or not, its about the passion and the love for the music...and if your skin is thick enough to walk that road, i give you props.

i thought it was good. i'm not of the "nothing is ever as good as the original and especially not if the person singing it is hot" nonsense. i like that guy. but the little guy who sang last and had a bagpiper come down the stairs while he was singing made me laugh SO FUCKING HARD that i had to vote for him. i was embarassed like i was the one with the spinal tap moment.

 

He had the #1 qualification for the job - he loved to hear himself talk.
