Americans + Canadians

This is MAINLY for those who live outside of North America...but I want everyone's two cents:

When you say "Americans" do you group canadians into the mix too?

 

Thats too funny because most American that I know don't really see much of a difference between the 2 countries.

 

No. When I say Americans I think people from the USA. And Canada is another thing...

Not at all. Americans are people from the United States of America.
People from Canada are Canadians.
Generally, if you are from America you will not be very popular in lots of places. Canadians do not have that problem usually.

 

My aunt, uncle and their 3 sons went to live to Canada like 7 years ago. And they returned brainwashed. Canada is evil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, my geography teacher said that if we ever had to choose to live either in Canada or the USA, we should definately choose Canada cause its more like Europe we r used to.

Lol, my mom travels extensively and has only run into that slightly in france. And shes pretty much a boring middle aged woman. But she does things like stayed with natives in fiji, and just went to turkey. The main thing is she doesn't act arrogant and egotistical like a lot of people travelling out of the US. I guarantee you I would have a good time with people all over the place. Not everyone is that narrowminded.

And yeah most people I know consider americans to be people from the US. Which bothers me. I think everyone from north america should be americans, and we should have some different name if its even needed.

Theye used to be normal. Now they are just scary.

Theres this place in Canada ( i forgot its name ) run by croatian priests, where hundreds of canadian croats spend their holidays. then they discuss conspiracy theories and stuff like that. sounds like fun, ha ?
