I told her she could take my book but she can't take my belifes! I don't think she gets how important that book is to me! How would she feel if I took her Bible Away! Maybe I should do it! Karma, what goes around comes around, she takes my BOS i'll take her God Damn Bible!

Sorry this happened to you! I know how you feel though back when I was living with my parents they went through EVERYTHING and just threw it in the trash, all my books, letters, notes, cards, etc. So I'll send a bit o good energy you way to help you deal with this. It happens and it really sucks when it does.
Play some music and meditate for a bit.

That does suck... sorry to hear that. When I was in highschool, my dad not only found, read, and destroyed my BOS but he spent a month tearing me a new one because of how un-catholic it was.... So I know what you mean. I learned to be a bit more private about it... I've it saved in disk.

my dad took away my cd's when i was in high school, he said i couldnt have them back till im 18 so i took his cds and said he cant have his cds back till i get mine back...needless to say i got my cds back the next day

thats complete bullshit that parents can take stupid stuff liek that away...im not saying the book is stupid but you know what i mean....it seems like more harm is done by taking it away then leaving it alone...maybe i dont understand it

lol... it's so shitty. And what's weird, parents never stop being parents, irrigardless of how old you are.

I hope I'm not that bitchy whenever I have kids... creepy.

Yeah I think most if not all of us went through something like that. I truly believe that "Every generation improves upon the last" as Mike Rutherford said. My kids are allowed to more or less do as they please as long as they exercise some responsible behaviour about things. And usually, therein lies the problem.

    Sorry Purple. That really sucks.

My parents hate the fact that I'm an occultist, but I'm lucky, they respect me enough that they wouldn't do that. This is really terrible. I'm very sorry to here that this happened.

Ohhww... you make me really happy with saying this, especially because you already have kids! My parents and I still have a very complicated relationship (I'm an only child as well, which doesn't really make things easier) and I can't do anything but hope that I'll use the experiences of my upbringing and turn in into a positive learning experience, where I'll treat my future kids in a different way.

I've always said that people traumatize their kids no matter what and that the only good raising of children consist of nothing else but trying to limit the traumatisation ;)

Oh people.. we're going to be better parents than ours were.. I hope :)
