Does anyone have extensive knowledge on angel trumpets? I've got one chillin in my back yard because my buddy had to clear out his lights and decoy plants, and I hear some wacky things about it. He said I was welcome to a leaf if I wanted it, but he wanted to be sure to be around in case I had to be taken to the hospital, which apparently there's a good chance of. Y'all aim positive now
It's more of a delireant than a psychedelic. With a delireant you will definitely hallucinate but you may not know they are hallucinations (talking to people that arent there). You should definitely have supervision. Things like this can make you very sick. It could very well be something you survive, not enjoy. Read up on it.
yea...them daturas/jimson weed....thats some freaky shit....its like the stuff you heard of that the indians used to blow into peoples face and shit...not cool....you just completely blank out.....go to errowids and read up on it.......i tried a sip of the tea once it wasnt cool.....just got sick and felt like everything was iin slo-mo....walked around all queezy and dizzy....but was conciouess enuf to make it to bed.....worst experience of my life.....
i was in rehab witha kid form hawai where these grow naturally and he said oen morning b4 school sum of his fried ate a shit load and they got reallly sick but they tripped hard
not worth it. tried it once, didn't take enough to hillucin8, but it sucked, bad side effects. its poison. people die from the shit.
Think Datura isnt so bad if you wouldnt eat the seeds,but just boil them for 10 minutes,and drink it slowley.Most of the bad tripings comes from overdose,30seeds,crushed and boiled in 200ml is enouph if u really wanna do it,but I have a still feeling that quite malicius spirit hides in there.
Do em, it aint so bad, i have done them loads, with not 1 bad experience........made tea, smoked, ate......etc. At the moment i am working on a traditional snuff made from the seeds, i have also extracted and man is that good, you need the tinyiest amount to get effects, very good in the long run............Fuck me i am starting to sound american.......
Yes. Datura (Brugmansia - Angel's Trumpet) is pretty to grow and to look at, but that stuff is just plain evil to consume. Now, if you've ever read Carlos Casteneda "Teachings of Don Juan"... There are practical traditional uses for Datura. It has the potential for some powerful magic. but... I've tried Angels Trumpet twice... dried flowers and leaves made into a tea. Both times, I was in HELL for days. I am very very lucky that I did not die. Do yourself a favor and leave it alone. It is not fun. It is not even a "trip". It will do you more harm than good. If you just want to get out of your mind, go get drunk or something... much safer than Datura.
I have one sittin out on my back porch right now. My mother thinks it smells nice, but I personally hate the thing. Me and this girl were getting cigarettes from my house before heading over to a party and we saw that plant and decided to eat the little buds off of where the flowers fell. It was the worst trip i've ever had. I hallucinated but i was so sick and angry the whole tiem that it was nowhere near fun. take some mushrooms for god's sake!
any one who tries this shit is STUPID. there are so many side effects. i'd like to see everyone who had experiences start a thread of side effects to show those interested that it is not worth it. you often end up with datura poisoning if you trip, and that can hospitalize/KILL you. you get such BAD cotton mouth, to where you think you cant breath, and your throat closes up, and you have horrible body sensations. Not to mention your DELERIOUS the whole time! i was there ONCE and thank the lord i didnt 1: get arrested 2: hurt myself or anyone else you dont know what's real and whats what. one kid got in bed with his friends mom and told her he was "looking for his pencil". thats delerium. NOT FUN.
I agree with all of those that say stay away. This shit is plain stupid. Not a psychedelic but a deleriant.
keepin' a tincture of bruggie flowers... labeled as such, & marked with a skull&crossbones... a drop or two behind each ear for motion sickness... a couple drops on the wrists, rubbed together like a cologne, for ummmm calming the nerves, yep... & of some crazies decide to practice chemical warfare with home-made (insecticide-based) nerve gas, well, atropine is the antidote, hehheh... but not for everyday use, and always with extreme caution, mmmmmkay? atropine & scopolamine (the pure chems) are often "medicinally active" at doses of less than 1 milligram!
i dont know what the fuck your thinkin but advising someone to take a plant like that is VERY inconsiderate. you dont kow them, their mental state, spiritual beliefs, nationality.......i HAVE read good reports that made me want to try it, these were all by people who were watched by natives and treated it in a spiritual sense, they saw spiirits and shit, souded fun. then i read a report like this: I ate 1 flower off a Datura plant on the way home, a lil bit later nothin was happening so i went to sleep. i woke up the next day almost blind, unable to read anything. i was covered in blood and my children were waiting at my bedroom door. they told me i woke them up last night screaming like a mad mad, i broke our glass coffe table and ran through our glass door. Both my kids are under 10.... i cant remember any of it. thank GOD i didnt harm my children, just seeing me like that prolly scared the shit outa them. and no thats not word for word but a summary of what i remember. LSD was not the only drug tested for chemical warfare. they knew about datura and used its active ingredient to produce a SUPER-hallucinogen (shulgin didnt want anything to do with it) called BZ. watch the movie Jacob's Ladder, its depicted in there.
