why the fuck do people get so bent out of shape about negative rep?

and so egotistical about good rep?!


does any of it really matter that much?!?!?

 

I like my good rep, it makes me happy to know that people enjoy (some of) my posts. And I like that I haven't obtained any negative rep, because on other forums, my sometimes harsh wording, strong opinions, and blunt attitude have given people wrong impressions about me.

But I don't care much about it really; but I do see some factors for those that do.

 

All of the negs I have received have been undeserved. If I am an asshat then I suppose I deserve it, but getting negged just for being pissed is a bitch slap. I'm on a 30+ roll at the moment though, I'm not sure how it works but I think + reps count for less if you have been negged recently. I just gained 6 points from a two-squarer, so that's what makes me think that.

Well I found out that if someone that has a bad rep, gives you a good rep point it's meaningless, just happened to me yesterday..

I think we're all aware that reputation doesn't make a forumer. I mean, I think Undies should have like 1000 reps but whatever..

 

I base my entire self worth on my rep score.

 

Even Stranger, bases his self worth on your rep score as well.
