Jean-Guy Allard writes in 'Granma', Cuba:

" If being a CIA collaborator gave off an odor, Carlos Sanchez Berzain would be smelled a mile away," writes Jean-Guy Allard in Havana, Cuba.

The criminal was a strong man for the "murderous Sanchez de Lozada administration" in Bolivia. In 2003 when the indigenous peoples rose up to protest the foreign explotation of Bolivia's natural gas resaurces, it was Sanchez Berzain who ordered a massacre of villagers. A 'faithfull servant of the United States,' Sanchez did all he could to 'demonize' Evo Morales, the ideginous leader who vowed to nationalize the gas industry. When Morales was ultimately elected president, Sanchez Barzain fled the country, and recently his 'imperial friends' in the White House arranged sanctuary for him in Miami, just lika 'many former Latin American murderous politicians,' particulary Cuban exiles. "This scandalous support for one of the continet's most well-known murderers confirms the continuing U.S. policy of protecting its own criminals while presuming to lecture the world on how to fight terrorism."

I'm NOT saying anything at all. I just put up the statment for everybody to see. It was on 'The Week' magazine. And, I find it interesting. It could be true or not. However, it's agood topic for a healthy debate. As a matter of fact, the Latin American countries many times have accused the US for giving sanctuary to 'terrorists'.

u.s. sanctiond terrorisim in latin america

I'll never forget holding a newspaper in my hands, reading of the El Mozote Massacre, and feeling outrage that we would sponsor such atrocities. It was probably the single event that most provoked me into paying attention to the news.

Republicans claimed it never happened. Yeah some things never change.
