I love the phyco babble they use. You wont get killed if you dont walk down a dark alley ect, and all weapons lead to biger weapons, and weapons kill bla bla bla, what a pile of bullshit. I think guns are great, they are fun, useful and offer a means of defense in some cases. I think there is too much goverment control over the purchase of guns. I think safety should be taught not suggested, that owners of guns stop passing blame for thier careless actions upon the gun and its manufacturer. Thats like saying Chev is at fualt for your childs death becuase a Vette is so fast. Why dont they sue the car company or the state for allowing a teen to drive or the insurance company for insuring a kid to drive a fast car ect. We need to step up and accept the fact we pull triggers, point guns ect no one else. Spending a day at the range is awesome, working harder and harder to get your groups below 1 inch and then 1/2 inch or less, man its a rush. Blasting 17 rounds out as fast as you can pull the trigger and still maintain a sub 3 inch group on a head shot target. I love my collection of assorted guns, I think it was money well spent.
And there is a big anti parade and shit for that? If you dont go out and harm others so be it, whack a nut!
i wish i actually paid attention when the army taught us how to shoot -how to zero the weapon -how to group shots -how to shoot in different positions all that fun stuff, but i just didn't give a shit then now i wanna learn to shoot
i love guns, they are fun and if you have half a brain in your head about firearms safety then you are fine...i plan on buying an AK this winter when i can afford it
I would like the numbers broke down as in has gun death decreased as in accidents or gun deaths as in used in a crime and also have gun related assistance in stopping crime go down too? Gun education is a far better solution than gun bans. The cities in America that have the toughest laws for gun control have become the highest crime rate cities. Cities like Anchorage that changed its stance and lightend up thier gun control laws saw a decrease in crime. Death thru the misuse of anything is not the fault of the item that was used incorrectly but rather the user. If your dumbe enough a butter knife is leathal.
zero in is easy. Fire a shot at about 100 feet, (assuming you did not jerk the trigger and took a smooth shot) you adjust the site/cross hairs to the bullet hole. Move back to 50 yards and repeat. Move back 100 yards and repeat. For hunting it depends on the distance you plan to shoot, the round your shooting and your ability as to finish sighting in. My .308 will do well out to 400 yards and likely better if I could see well enough out that far. My .223 will do wonders out to 300 yards My 12 guage slug gun is great to 100 yards but falls badly after that.
well, i don't have any weapons right now. so i'm kinda stuck with nothing. though, i'd really just like to go out and fire away right now
Ruger 10/22 is a great investment. Cheap to shoot, very accurate, can do awesome upgrades to it and they dont jam.
I have had guns since I was 11. I have had more friends die in cars then by guns that were legal. When the shit hit's the fan even harder then it is right now in the USA-you will wish you had guns! When it does-i'm armed and sitting right in the middle of 1000's of acres of land that I have camped and hiked in since I was a kid. A place where I could live off the land for a very long time.
you go to a gunstore and pick out your rifle...they do a brief FBI background check on ya(dont go to wamart its a fucking headache)...then you pay for it and walk out
well if your gun laws in vermont are similar to ours in new york then, the gun is automatically registered in your name during time of purchase...
