DO you know your 3 main Signs - Rising, Moon and Sun Sign and if they are within 10 degrees of the next Sign?
from my basic amateur astrology reading: Overall you seem like a mellow person. Patient, calm, compassionate, caring, carefree.
Above all what I write here is not the total sum of your Being. Our environment is a huge modifier of our Signs. If we have been “wounded” by life then we will have more of the negative traits coming forth in our personalities. How you have lived so far, based the attitudes of others, is something I can’t speak of, only you know what life has had to offer you. You will however be able to see certain traits from your Signs (modified by your environment) when you learn the characteristics of all 3 of your Guides (your Rising, Moon and Sun Signs & the Cusp Signs). I see our Rising Sign(s) as the traits that we use to develop our Feeling side, what I call our Child Mind. This Part of us is our Past, our memories of what went on before. Because your Rising Sign is close to Gemini you will have traits from both Can and Gem in this Mind; which is your personal area, your feelings for life, how you respond to others. Cancer, a Water Sign is Sensitive and emotionally Reactive (Female) to what is said to them, so THEY don’t like to feel like someone is attacking them, which may make you moody. Add in Gem’s sarcastic nature and you probably let others know how they have affected you. Gemini (Inquisitive Air) also likes to dissect things, to understand how things work, so I would guess you have some interests in many things. Combine the two, or Blend the traits as I like to say, and your Child Mind could be very nurturing, caring of others feelings but at the same time you have a critical eye for what you or others are doing. Our Moon Sign becomes conscious in us as we progress through Puberty, so I call this Mind our Adolescent Mind. It is the part of us that needs to be social and outgoing, how we deal with the Present; the dramas we are in the midst of. This Mind is how we communicate and with Sensitive, Earthly Taurus in this Mind I would say you are very cautious and reserved in your speaking until you get to feel comfortable with others. Again this Sign is on the Cusp so you will also get a lot of traits from Inquisitive Gemini. I have Gem/Tau for my Moon Signs (3 degrees) so I can say Taurus does quiet the outgoing nature of Gemini. But Gemini will add into your speech more criticism and sarcasm especially because you have it in the Child Mind also. One trait of Air Signs is the need to share their understanding of things so a lot of what you talk about may be along these lines. Our Sun Sign is the part of us that works for our Future. It is our Adult Mind and it is parental in its actions, it is our Thinking side. You state you have Libra at 22 degrees for your Sun Sign, which is 8 degrees from Scorpio so you will get a little of this Water Sign’s characteristic in this Mind. Libra is all about Harmony in its relationships so your thoughts and ideas will probably be around the notion of getting together with others so you can share your knowledge of whatever subject interests you. Libras love the debate and words are their playing field. Libras also like to talk and argue, sometimes taking the opposite view just so they can debate. Some quirks of you Signs: Cancer will sometimes say the opposite of what they meant. Gemini pays attention to what is said and will tell (a critic) others they made a mistake. Taurus needs routines to feel secure inside and they organize their environment to gain that security. Libras will argue that you’re wrong about the traits you just described for them… Your Signs: Can/Gem, Tau/Gem, Lib Your Elements: Water/Air, Earth/Air, Air Your Behaviors: Sensitive/Sensi, Sensi/Sensi, Expressive Fire Signs are just like fire – enthusiastic, energetic and passionate Air Signs are just like Air – into everything, curious beyond belief Earth Signs like to stay connected to the Earth – stick in the mud’s so to speak. Water Signs are Intuitive, a sponge absorbing the moods and emotions of others, which can over load them at times. Sensitive Signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer Expressive Signs: Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio Thinking Signs: Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces If I am mostly accurate please let me know. I'd say its about 85% accurate if not not more, a lot of it was dead on (the highlighted portions) thank you, i appreciate you taking the time to do that, wasnt quite what i had in mind, but a good reminder all the same
I found out years ago that a "reading" really wasn't very helpful to who I was and how I had responded to life so far. I spent many years coming up with this idea that the Signs of our 3 Guides speak volumes for the kind of Behaviors we will exhibit and I believe it is more helpful to the individual than anything you can find out from having your natal chart done (they will point people to the Signs they have in their 3 Guides).
My mother has been working as an vedic astrologist. She seriously believes in that, which makes our relationship kind of difficult sometimes. The strange thing is, there are people who always return to my mother, because for them it works. But when we are talking about myself, she never was able to predict anything at all.
I believe all we need to do is to know the Traits of the Signs we have for our 3 Guides and especially if they are within 10 degrees of the Cusp. Our 3 Guides can tell us a lot about the personality we have developed. Just knowing the Energy of the Elements we have can give us a great understanding of how we interact with others. Astrology should be all about relationships and how we fit in with the others. I think all the aspect stuff is to complicated - that we need to get down to the basics more often, and I feel many other people would like that also.
