Any brave enough to go with me?

I wanna protest KFC and other meat serving fast food places that insist on vile and gruesome treatment of animals in Philly. Im so scared, people always make fun of me for it..,an someone go with me please?

 

Ever heard of PETA kills animals? http://www.petakillsanimals.com/ what do you think of them? I'm against putting animal to "sleep." That's a sorry excuse, in my opinion. The animal wants to survive, why would you pay to murder it? Anyway, yes, I'd join. I'm a follower, you know.

 

Yeah, Im a member but I wanna form a protest, long story. I signed up for the street team and it allows me to assmble a team, if you will. I'm kinda afraid though, people are so mean to me. I might not go at all.

I do feel pretty bad about all the chickens that are slaughtered, it's like ... genocide, but to chickens.

Yeah you are lol but its ok lol. Umm..I dunno after being called "happy ass, hippie freak, sunshine" and "moonbeam" I thought, maybe I was a hippie besides I'm vegan and i'd die before I'd kill even a little fly. I dunno how I found it, i got cursed out, so i looked for a nicer forum.

 

You seem like a rarity in philly. You live IN the city? I can't say I'm as loving of life as you, but I do have a problem with the mass-slaughter of animals. So .. are you entirely vegan? Or will you eat eggs or dairy based products? Cakes made with eggs? just wondering.

Hey, brainstew. Don't be afraid ! Be proud that you are one of the few in your area (obviously) that is willing to stand up against cruelty. KFC and the like are disgusting. I am closer to the Pittsburgh area, but if I were around Philadelphia, I would definitely join with you. I think that it is great that you want to make a change. I started going vegan last month, and I have been vegetarian for nearly a year (next month is my one-year anniversary for being a vegetarian). Anyway, good luck with the protest! I highly doubt that you would get arrested, unless you were starting some sort of violent riot, which I am sure that you are not. Also, don't worry about people that get upset about your lifestyle choice. I get the same reaction from most people around here. The main thing to remember is that a lot of people cannot accept change, and they fear people that are different than them. I honestly feel so bad for those people, as they will have a hard time dealing the world.

I live in the inner city, and I'm total vegan. No egs, cheese, nothing. I've been vegan for about a year and I was vegetarian before that.I was theforumsite.com

Your best bet in protesting at KFC would be to take a chicken with you. I've had pet chickens in my life. How many that sup at KFC have ever seen a real chicken in their life, especially in urban areas.
